FAA CERTIFIED REMOTE PILOT
As a hobby starting at the age of 8, scale model vehicle building has led to his Radio Controlled surface and air vehicle passion. Growing up with a father who was a mechanical engineer and legendary chassis fabricator from the late 1960's to early 1980's, Jaime Sarte comes from a background of Drag Racing chassis building and metal fabrication. 40 years later Jaime is even more passionate about scale models and flying radio controlled surface and air vehicles.
Jaime’s profession for the last 35 years has been in the automotive performance and mechanical field. For 20 years Jaime has been employed as the teardown mechanic for a highly reputable, worldwide publishing company. His job consisted of the complete disassembly, photography then reassembly of a vehicle while creating a step by step written draft for technical authors to build an illustrated service and repair procedure from. The end result allows the average DIY person to repair their vehicle with a basic set of tools. This experience would be invaluable in terms of creating user/procedural training guides and general manuals for end-users.
Jaime has 30 plus years of radio control piloting experience in all aspects of rotary and fixed wing aircraft, with top five finishes in International Miniature Aerobatic Club (IMAC) competition. His Turbine powered scale Bell 212 UH1 Helicopter is his most prized possession of many RC helicopter builds and has taken top five awards in radio scale model building.
Over these years, radio control piloting experience has made him an exceptional drone pilot. He is considered to be the foremost expert for precision piloting in his area and is a FAA Certified Remote Pilot. Jaime also provided remote control helicopter flight training to clients for a company called Airstar International for 6 years. The training was specific to clients who purchased camera equipped remote controlled helicopters and wanted to learn how to operate and fly them.
